Welcome to our Corpus de Zahara website, the most important festival in Zahara and of which we Zahareños are most proud. Festival with more than 500 years old and that thanks to its uniqueness, tradition and beauty has obtained national and regional distinctions.
Declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest by Ministerial Order on April 24, 1980 (the only one in Andalusia with this distinction) Declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest of Andalusia, by order of May 20, 1997.
On the day of Corpus Christi, Zahara undergoes a transformation that can only be explained if it is lived, an explosion of aromas and colors with green sedge carpets and facades of groves that transform the town into a warm forest through which the sacred form processes, parking in the different altars that are raised for this purpose along the way, repeating a ritual that transports us to the 15th century Zahara.
